At Pure Canine, we take great care in fostering strong bonds with both dogs and their owners. Our day care service offers more than simply a convenient place for your dog to stay while you work or are away. It is a true home away from home, providing your cherished pet with opportunities to socialise, engage in physical activity, and participate in a well organised daily routine—all within a secure and nurturing environment.

Our experienced and knowledgeable team ensures each day is carefully tailored to meet your dog's needs, delivering both mental stimulation and physical enrichment that promote a happier and healthier companion. Our relationship-based approach to day care extends beyond standard care; we focus on creating positive, lasting impressions for both dogs and their owners.

At Pure Canine, our approach differs from typical day cares that often expose large groups of dogs to constant high-energy environments. We prioritise small pack integration, ensuring dogs interact in manageable groups to reduce stress and promote positive socialisation.

Your dog's day will consist of structured walks as a pack in our dedicated dog field. Off-lead free time in our secure courtyard allowing dogs to interact naturally with one another in a small pack. Downtime is spent in our quiet room alongside the rest of the pack, focusing on establishing a solid foundation centered around calmness. Through this balanced routine, your dog will experience improvements in overall well-being, resulting in a calmer, happier, and healthier pet..

We create an environment where every dog feels safe and connected. Our day care focusses on gentle pack integration ensuring that every dog has the opportunity to socialise at their own pace.

Calmness First

We place calmness and relaxation at the heart of our approach, prioritising this helps dogs feel safe and content, laying the foundation of positive behavior. Creating a calm atmosphere allows each dog to flourish, ensuring they are happy, relaxed and socially engaged.

Personal Service

We take a personalised approach that treats every dog and owner as unique. We move beyond the commercial “one size fits all”. Instead we focus on the individual needs and preference of each dog. This ensures that your pet receives the care and attention they deserve whilst in our care fostering stronger bonds and a happier experience.

“My Border Collie Wren is highly reactive to vehicles or anything with an engine such as aeroplanes. Ste offered a 1 to 1 training session for me and Wren. I was over the moon with the results, Wren was laying down calmly on her lead whilst vehicles drove past and instead she was focused on Ste. He then taught me the skills needed to help her myself. Excellent result!”

Ste has helped beyond measure with managing Luna out on walks. It was becoming impossible but Ste helped Luna and I (who needed more help than the dog) take control over her lead pulling and reactivity. It is a working progress but wouldn’t have known what to do without Ste’s help. Highly recommend to anyone, he’s brilliant and genuinely cares!
