What you can Expect from Us.

Calmness First Approach.

We place calmness and relaxation at the heart of our approach, prioritising this calm communication to help your dog feel safe and content, laying the foundation of positive behaviour.

Creating a calm atmosphere allows each dog to flourish, ensuring they are happy, relaxed and socially engaged.

Development for every dog.

We want every dog we work with to become better through their time with us. Through key skills development, their behaviour with dogs and people.

The dogs in our care are learning every day, and we regularly feedback to their families on their progress, so you’re always in the loop.

An Open Door Policy.

We encourage parents to be part of their dogs learning and development, and we are always happy for participation - whether you want to attend a pack walk, have questions about how to help your dogs progression, or want to understand more about their personality. We are here to help you learn, as much as your dog.

What we Expect from You.

Application Process.

Every new dog starts with an in person application to assess their behaviour and social skills. We don’t need them to be perfect - we do expect them to be safe and polite around people and other dogs. We hold every dog to the same standard, because it impacts all of our clients.

Do your Homework.

We want your dog to succeed and we want to help you, which is why we often set homework to practice when your dog isn’t with us. As the old saying goes, learning starts at home - and we believe in a collaborative approach to parenting.

Help us to help you.

Dogs need individual care - both medically, dietary care, and socially. Be clear in your dogs needs and open and honest about where they need help - so that we can ensure they are receiving beneficial input in our care.

Booking your dog for their Assessment

When you are ready to book your dog in for their assessment, you can choose a day that is suitable for you via our booking calendar. Assessments typically last one hour, in which time you and your dog will have the opportunity to meet the team, discuss your needs - and most importantly, allow us to assess your dogs temperament and personality to help identify if we can accommodate their needs.

We take a £75 deposit at the time of booking, which is redeemable against the cost of boarding, or one to one training depending on the conclusion of your visit. We do this to encourage responsible dog owners with genuine applications who love what we do.

Remember - your dog doesn’t need to be a star pupil - just safe around people and other dogs as a starting point.

★★★★★

“Cannot recommend Ste enough, saw a massive change after the first training session, four weeks later he’s like a different dog. So helpful, and genuinely knows what he’s talking about. Available to ask questions at any point in the day regardless of whether you have a training session. So friendly and approachable, nothings too much of an ask. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.”

“My Border Collie Wren is highly reactive to vehicles or anything with an engine such as aeroplanes. Ste offered a 1 to 1 training session for me and Wren. I was over the moon with the results, Wren was laying down calmly on her lead whilst vehicles drove past and instead she was focused on Ste. He then taught me the skills needed to help her myself. Excellent result!”

Ste has helped beyond measure with managing Luna out on walks. It was becoming impossible but Ste helped Luna and I (who needed more help than the dog) take control over her lead pulling and reactivity. It is a working progress but wouldn’t have known what to do without Ste’s help. Highly recommend to anyone, he’s brilliant and genuinely cares!
